Limbs 4 Life Police Credit is proud to announce a community partnership with Limbs 4 Life, a charity dedicated to empowering amputees with information and support.
Limbs 4 Life offers a range of programs and services that assist amputees, their families and their primary care givers so no amputee has to go through the trauma of limb loss alone. Through their Peer Support Program, Limbs 4 Life matches amputees in the hospital or rehab with trained volunteers who have lived with limb loss and offers psychological and emotional support. Additionally, they promote community interaction and participation by hosting a range social events and activities, tailored to help with fitness and general well-being. Events include golf days, BBQ’s lawn bowls and awareness week activities, keeping amputees connected in their community. Police Credit’s support will assist Limbs 4 Life in expanding its services to provide even more amputees with the support they deserve. This partnership is part of Police Credit’s commitment to social responsibility in the community where its members work and live.
