The first appointment

When there’s a change in your financial circumstances, such as marriage or being retrenched from a job, or when you have a goal that you want to achieve, like saving for your children’s education or having a comfortable retirement, then you’ll probably look for some professional financial advice.

Your first interview with PC Planning will include:

A discussion to clarify your lifestyle and financial goals

A review of your personal and financial position

An explanation of how we can work together to achieve your goals.

At the end of the appointment, we’ll explain the next steps to be taken in preparing the financial plan. This will include scheduling another appointment so that the plan, which will detail how to reach your goals and objectives, is presented and explained to you.

What information should I bring?

On your first meeting with PC Planning, you should bring details of:

What you own (property, shares, superannuation values and other investments)

What you owe (home loans and personal loans, credit and store cards)

Your income (salary, interest, share dividends, social security payments, etc)

Your expenses (living expenses, loan repayments, bills, school fees, etc)

Your insurance policies (life insurance, income protection, trauma or disability insurance).
