BPAY® changes update Further to our BPAY changes update in the January 2012 edition of PC News, we are required to remove all no longer valid variable customer reference numbers (CRN) from pc.easynet, mobile banking and Rapid Response telephone banking. Now when you make BPAY payments from your personal payees that you’ve stored, you will be required to provide the CRN as displayed on your bill. This change has been mandated by BPAY to reduce the problems Billers encounter when reconciling payments from invalid variable CRN numbers.
