Important advice on Early Withdrawals
As the withdrawal of funds prior to the maturity period requires the prior agreement of Police Credit, your Term Deposit investment may be subject to the following potential risks:
Any early withdrawal may be subject to a reduction in the interest rate
As the interest rate is fixed for the term of the deposit you may be disadvantaged if there is an increase in interest rates.
Important advice on Maturity Notices
As a Term Deposit account holder, you will be sent Maturity Notices at least one week prior to the maturity date, along with the current interest rates. If your maturity instructions are not received prior to maturity date, your deposit will be renewed in a new fixed term deposit for the same or similar term and interest will be paid in accordance with previous instructions.
Important advice on Early Redemptions
Deposits cannot generally be withdrawn prior to maturity. However, under special circumstances, Police Credit may (at its discretion) agree to a request from any member for the full or partial redemption of their deposit prior to the expiry of its full term. If an early redemption is required, your request needs to made in writing to us - advising the amount that is needed, the reason and the withdrawal details. If your account is held in joint names, all parties are to sign the letter, regardless of the method of operating your account. Please note that Police Credit may (at their discretion) charge an Interest Reduction.

Term Certificates will be sent to you following initial lodgement and after each renewal date.
