A telegraphic transfer allows you to transfer funds to an overseas bank account. Account holders and authorised signatories can organise to have a telegraphic transfer sent overseas through Police Credit, Travelex, by contacting us on 13 63 73 and selecting Option #3, we will provide you with an exchange rate. Prior to conducting an International Telegraphic Transfer, you will provide the following:
IBAN (International Bank Account Number) Name of Beneficiary Address of Beneficiary Recipients Bank Address Bank Name Sort Code (Bank Identifier Number / BSB number) Swift Code (Bank Identifier code) Account Number
Each telegraphic transfer incurs a charge in addition to the amount you are sending and can take anywhere between 48 hours and 10 working days to arrive depending on the country. Refer to our Fees & Charges PDS for further information.
A draft is a Foreign Currency Cheque that allows you to post it anywhere in the world. Drafts can be issued in most countries and are payable at the counter of an overseas bank. A draft can be organised through Police Credit by visiting a branch or contacting Member Response on 13 63 73. This is done in conjunction with Travelex.
